Lent.
I’m taking the next 40 days (and nights) as somewhat of a challenge in order to purge myself of bad habits.
This year, I’ve decided to give up spending my money frivolously. I waste WAYYY too much cash on fast food, clothes, and random stuff! Next year, I’m off to college and I need to become more conscious of my spending habits before then.
[Oh and as a bit of an update, so far I’ve been accepted to the University of Rochester, Penn State, and Drexel. Whoooop!]
Also, I want to focus more on developing myself into a better person. I set high goals and expectations for myself but always fall short because I don’t always put in the work in takes to achieve these aspirations.
So for more of a bulleted list of Lent/Senior Year Goals:
No more frivolous shopping.
Wake up at 5:00 on weekdays?
Apply for at least 10 scholarships.
Read > Facebook and TV
Actually care about school (to a certain extent) even though it’s almost over.
Keep up with my Twitter, Tumblr, Blogger, etc.
Post at least one YouTube video per week: www.youtube.com/ohohohliviaaah
Catch up on my piano, composition, and classical voice skills.
Lose ten pounds? (No carbonated beverages and cut down on Fast Food)
Check in with me to see how I’m managing this ordeal.
:)
